now

Based on the Derek Sivers article on the now page movement, here is what I’m currently focussing on and what has my attention.

listening

This is perfect for when you need to crank some work.

reading

I’ve got two books sat on the bedside table, neither of which seem to be getting much attention:

Must make more time, too tired to read just before bedtime.

watching

Enjoying season three of The Capture. Always worried that something good gets ruined by the desire to deliver follow-on seasons (I’m looking at you Silo!), but The Capture is moving the story on without it becoming too remote from the original. Available on BBC iPlayer if you are in the UK.

faffing about with…

Reconciling my desire to use a bullet journal whilst admitting I’m not going to carry paper and pen around with me everywhere. Currently capturing notes/thoughts in Apple notes and transferring into the bullet journal. This might be duplication, or perhaps a good way of taking time to consider more deeply my ideas and actions. This seems a bit faffy at the moment.

contemplating

Why one bit of my brain can logically see the value in some exercise, but another bit of my brain doesn’t want to bother.
